Through this hands-on workshop, students will learn strategies for coping with their eco-anxiety and concrete ways to take climate action. Students will discuss climate change and its associated anxiety in a positive and collaborative environment, empowering students to turn their eco-anxiety into action.
The Micro-Internship Program is a unique opportunity designed for New Brunswick High school students eager to explore sustainable career paths. Participants spend a day at an environmentally-focused workplace, where they engage with professionals in the field and gain firsthand experience on what a typical day looks like in the workplace. This hands-on approach encourages a deeper appreciation for environmental stewardship and empowers the next generation of leaders in sustainability.
The Youth Climate Leadership Guide is an interactive tool designed with the goal of equipping students with the necessary tools to lead a high-level climate action project at their school. This guide is broken into 6 units focusing on resources and activities relating to climate science, climate justice, eco-anxiety, green careers, project planning, and taking action.
