The Green Experts Program is designed to help students learn more about green careers and access networking and mentorship opportunities with professionals to explore how they can take climate action to the next level: as professionals!
For youth looking to start building their careers, the Green Experts Program offers personalized and comprehensive career guidance that will empower them to make a positive impact on climate change through their work.
Students have the chance to connect with a professional through class presentations (in person or virtually), climate action project consultation, and mentorship opportunities.
The future generations can help mitigate climate change through their future career or business. Through career pathway development support, and mentorship/networking opportunities, youth can connect directly with Green Experts who work in diverse industries.
Our Green Experts Map is designed to help youth learn about green careers, and to showcase businesses and people who integrate environmentalism and sustainability into their jobs. Click on their career profiles icon to learn more.
Our Green Experts are volunteers who work in the province who are passionate about their green jobs. When signing up as a Green Expert, you can choose to create a career profile to add to our map (see above), give presentations (in person or virtual), consult and provide guidance on climate action projects, and even provide mentorship to youth looking to take their green career planning to the next level!
